Doug Price
Over 40 years’ experience as an agricultural engineer of which, 30 years working with pesticide application the last 22 of which, self employed as an instructor and assessor for Lantra and City & Guilds. Working with Agri education and involved for many years as an amateur drone operator with CAA licence and latterly in a university forum, for drones in farming.
A respected and well-known instructor/assessor for farmers, growers, amenity, and councils, having trained thousands of students.
Working alongside AutoSpray to develop the UK first comprehensive training programme, accredited by Lantra & the CAA for agricultural use of XAG drones.
Sam Powell
With a career in the Army behind him and a civvy career in training potential Forces applicants; Sam is also a qualified Lantra Instructor. He holds a CAA license for drone operation and is keen and driven to support the new, and unique competency based XAG Drone operator qualification.
Mark Price
Mark has a vast knowledge of horticulture gained over 40+ years and has been a Trainer/Assessor for LANTRA and City & Guilds in pesticides and application machinery for over 20 years. His career has included teaching students to NVQ/Diploma level for various educational establishments in all things land based. Mark is a methodical and detailed individual, who is passionate about his field of work and in helping others to develop the same. He is used to working with all ages and abilities and his adaptability to meet the needs of his students is second to none. He is an active member of the RHS and National Trust.
Melissa Powell
Melissa is an organised, multi-tasker with a military background as a sergeant and medic, holding her LGV licence and NVQ5 in Leadership & Management. She is a well-respected trainer of battlefield First Aid for the Army Reserves and has 10 years’ experience in customer service in civvy street.
With a bubbly personality and a can-do attitude, she works well with people of all levels and for DSP she is the customers central point of contact. She also holds a CAA licence for drone operation.
