Our first cohort of students in April 2023

Well done to some of our first cohort of students from April 2023 who have successfully put their training to good use by utilising what they learned to scatter 20 million birch seeds as part of a trailblazing project to reduce landslips.

This is a great demonstration of the new and innovative ways in which the use of drones can be integrated into agricultural work, creating efficiencies and saving time, money and resource.

The hope is that 20,000 trees will be successfully grown from this strategic drop of 2 million seeds, a feat that was made possible on this rugged terrain by the drones flying a pre-programmed path.
