Testing out the XAG!

Sam, Doug and the XAG.

These images show us seeding over sunny Kent alongside the AutoSpray Team

It’s the first question we get asked, so, when Ashby Farms asked us to under-sow 200 hectares of wheat with a seed mix of turnips, mustard, radish and rape, we thought it would a good opportunity for find the answer - how much can the big, XAG P100 really cover each hour?

Depending on the size of the field, we were getting 20 hectares per hour of coverage. While this wouldn’t compete with a big self-propelled sprayer in ideal conditions, the drone allows you to get onto the fields when traveling conditions are far from ideal and to reach the areas larger equipment just can’t get to.

If you want to learn to harness the capabilities of this powerful drone, contact us to book onto one of our courses today!
