Team flight day

L-R - Jordan, Melissa, Doug, Mark, Sam

On a cold, dry day in March, the team gathered at Harper Adams University to have a play with some cool equipment, pictured above. Several Harper students gathered to watch as we tested these drones and various bits of kit.

Putting a drone into the air is always an exciting time, even when you have done it many times before! Technology has improved the experience greatly, and these days the drone is controlled by computer programming the drone flight path, as opposed to using a joystick.

Our very own photographer, Jordan (far left on the image above) got some great pictures and we finished the day in the lecture theatre with a bacon butty and a coffee! With huge thanks to our partners and hosts Harper Adams University, for the use of their facilities for the day.
